Frontend Dev

Until recently, I have mainly worked as a Frontend Dev.
Gaining experience in HTML, CSS, JS, Vue.js & others since university, and then in my career path, it was the initial spark that created my passion for UX/UI, as I find joy in creating meaningful interactive experiences for the user.

UX/UI Design

Being passionate about art and psychology, this area became my prefered area of work. I wrote my master’s thesis about this theme.
UX/UI Design lets me express my creativity, connect with people, and do meaningful work, crafting unique user experiences and interfaces.

Artist

I enjoy painting with gouache and watercolors in my free time. It helps me relax and gives me a chance to express my creativity.
I love using bright colors to get unique results. I also explore different digital art forms, such as digital painting, 3D modeling, animation, pixel art, and some others.

Hi! I'm Maria Silva – a spontaneous, creative UX/UI Designer.

I love challenges, learning exciting things, and I'm always striving to understand people better. Drawing inspiration from psychology, art, programming, and more, crafting interactive, user-friendly, and visually pleasing experiences is what I love.

My journey was shaped by two defining moments: learning frontend development in a university project, and later writing my master's thesis, which delved deep into the UX/UI design process, teaching me valuable lessons that now guide my approach.

My process starts with understanding the user and the problem at hand, followed by sketching prototypes and iterating through testing. What sets my work apart is the genuine desire to create solutions that truly cater to users' wants and needs.
